On a computer, the top menus explain each section. On mobile, the bottom bar takes you to the main sections and "More" opens the rest and the settings.
You barely need an account: your favorites, teams and settings are stored in this browser.

Pokédex and entries
Filter by type, generation, stats, category (legendary, mythical...) and more. Filters combine and are kept in the URL.
Each entry has stats, weaknesses, evolutions, forms, abilities and every move it learns.
«Where to find it» lists the areas of each game where it appears, with level and encounter rate.
"Shiny" shows its alternate colors (animated for Generations 1 to 5) and "Cry" plays its sound.
Use the ← and → keys to go to the previous or next Pokémon.
Mark ★ your favorites and ✔ the ones you have caught: the Pokédex shows your progress.
Teams
Create an empty team or start from an example template.
For each member choose ability, four moves, item, nature, Tera Type, level, EVs and IVs, and see its real stats.
The analysis tells you which types your team is weak to, what it covers offensively and which roles it has, and suggests Pokémon to fill the gaps.
Share it with a link, export it to Showdown or as an image, or publish it in the community.
Tools
Types: what's super effective against what, attacking (one or two types) and defending (with ability and Tera Type), plus the full chart.
Damage calculator: how much a move deals and whether it KOs, with level, EVs, items, weather and critical hits.
Comparer: up to 4 Pokémon with their stats side by side.
Moves: find which Pokémon can learn all the moves you want at once.
Mini-games: "Who's that Pokémon?" and "Higher or lower?", where you guess which Pokémon has higher stats.
Catch calculator: the chance with every ball depending on HP, status and the situation.
EV planner: spread your EVs and see how many vitamins, feathers or battles you need (and against whom).
Nuzlocke mode: pick the game and log, area by area, what you found, who is in your party and who fainted.
Weekly challenge: a new team challenge every Monday; check whether your team meets it and build a streak.
Wild Pokémon: while you browse, one sometimes shows up at the bottom of the screen. Tap it and throw the ball (swipe up) when the ring is small. Your catches, items and achievements are in «My collection».
Community
To publish, vote and comment you need a (free) account: email and password, then confirm your email with the link you receive.
Publish a team from its editor and add tags (VGC, rain, beginners...) so others can find it.
Vote with ▲ / ▼, save the ones you like, comment on them or copy them to your teams to edit them.
Follow your favourite trainers: their teams show up in the "Following" tab and the 🔔 bell tells you when someone votes on, comments on or copies yours.
Search by text, sort by popular, recent, most copied or most commented, and earn badges on your profile.
If something breaks the rules, report it: a moderator will review it.
Your data and settings
In "My account" > "Settings" you change the language, the theme (GBA or Game Boy), sound and the Pokédex view.
You can download the data to use the Pokédex offline and install PixelDex as an app from your browser menu.
Back up your data or move it to another browser. With an account, "Sync" does it for you.
